53% of people sentenced for breaching family violence intervention orders in Victoria reoffend within 5 years. People who breached family violence intervention orders had a higher rate of reoffending than people convicted of other offences. This is of major concern when the purpose of the orders is to protect the abused person. Read the full article here.
