LGBTIQ communities experiencing alarming rates of domestic violence - report

A New South Wales report has found that people in non-heterosexual relationships suffer emotional and verbal abuse specific to their gender identity and sexual preferences. In the study, 53% of transgender, intersex and gender diverse survey respondents said they had experienced physical or sexual abuse in a previous relationship. Read more here
