In this article, Kasey Edwards challenges Mark Latham's assertion on radio that men use family violence as a means of coping with the frustrations of being a man in today's world. Views such as Latham's only serve to reinforce the sense of entitlement and belief in the right to power and control held by some men - the very same beliefs that underpin the perpetration of family violence.
