In this article, Kasey Edwards challenges Mark Latham's assertion on radio that men use family violence as a means of coping with the frustrations of being a man in today's world.  Views such as Latham's only serve to reinforce the sense of entitlement and belief in the right to power and control held by some men - the very same beliefs that underpin the perpetration of family violence.  Latham sees it as logical that being denied these feelings entitles men to vent their frustrations on women and children in the form of violence...
