Nicole Ferrie, editor of the Bendigo Advertiser, has written an open letter to the community about protecting women and children from violence.  The sad fact is that most women and children are not hurt by "the monster lurking in the shadows", but in their own homes where they should be feeling safe.  Read the letter here.
