Ballarat and surrounding areas have some of the highest rates of family
violence in Western Victoria. This is unacceptable and requires a whole
of community response to bring about cultural change. Rosie Batty will
be speaking at the Grampians Pyrenees Leading Change Dinner in Great
Western on June 13, aiming to begin the conversation with businesses and
community groups. The event will challenge sexism, discrimination and
violence against women within workplaces and communities. The graph of
family violence incidents per 100,000 people for different parts of our
