"Mobile van to provide support to children in regional Victoria traumatised by family violence," Charlotte King, ABC, August 11, 2017
11 August 2017
WRISC together with Moorabool Shire are involved in an exciting new pilot project called "Van Go". This innovative project brings the therapy space to children who have experienced family violence via a specially commissioned and fitted out Art Therapy van. Children and families in regional and rural areas can have difficulty accessing services, so the idea is to bring the services to where they are needed. "Van Go" is based at the Darley Children's Hub in Bacchus Marsh. "Van Go" was featured on the ABC AM Program on Thursday August 10, 2017. You can listen to the segment and read an extended version here.
